Thanksgiving

Our Thanksgiving travels were great! First, we drove up to Oregon to hang with my Dad and family for about a week. We live about 5 1/2 hours from the Hood so it's really not that bad of a drive. Since we weren't going to be there for Thanksgiving day, my dad had a pre-thanksgiving day! Turkey, pie, the whole shabam. We then flew from Portland to Richmond, Virginia.

We were in Richmond for a little over a week. As you can see from above, we played a lot of Legos. And when I say "a lot" I mean a lot. We built a nice little town with homes, a church, temple, barn, and a school with a prison right next to it, you know the usual. And then Karl built a bunch of space jets while Trevor provided cool sound effects.

It was so wonderful seeing so many family members! And we miss them all. We wish we could live right next to everybody. Thank you all for a great visit! And thank you Virginia for your 70 degree weather.
