Oregano

So our original plan was to take the 16 hour train ride from San Francisco to Salt Lake, but last minute we decided to road trip with my Dad back to da Hood. And I’m so glad we did. Not only was it a beautiful drive but we were also able to spend more time with my dad. Trevor was a little disappointed though, he was looking forward to pretending he was on the Hogwarts Express heading to his dream school. Maybe next time.

Oregon wasn’t sun shiny like California, but it was still beautiful. As always.

My two favorite things. French fries and family.

My Grandma Susie is getting older. So we decided it would be a good idea to make a record of some of her history. We set up my laptop and recorded her talking about her past – just audio. She was born and raised in Cebu, Philippines and was living there during the war. She had a lot of interesting stories and it was so fun to hear about her younger self.
Trev looks like a giant here.

We did have a few sunny moments. So we went to the river and sailed our little hearts away. It felt sooooo good! I love being out on the water. Of course, the sunshine didn't mean warmth. We had to wear extra gear which of course makes you feel so hard core. I cross my fingers that wherever we settle we’ll be by water. Someday I want our own boat. Even if it’s just an itty bitty one.

  2. Oh how I miss beautiful Oregon. I was hoping to live by water too. Now we're in Arizona and hours away from real water. Our poor kayaks are gathering dust. Hopefully you'll have better luck.

  4. Glad you had a good time, you globetrotter, you. And somehow, calling Trevor Gilligan just seems so right. Are you Ginger or Marianne?
