Christmas Vacation

Christmas break was perfect. I loved every minute of it. It was pretty much all focused around Atlas, but I think everyone was OK with that. Christmas is a lot more fun with kids in the house.

He was such a big helper.

Ariel and I brought our guitars and made sure to play at least a few ditties together. But only a few, because our fingers were DYING with each song..it was pathetic. While we played songs, Atlas and Trevor played with our guitar bags. Atlas would climb in and Trevor would zip him in and then swing him back and forth. Atlas loved it and wanted Trevor to do it over and over again. Poor Trevor.

My favorite part of Christmas was making tamales! We made a batch of Mike's Nicaraguan tamales and a batch of my mom's Mexican tamales...so that ended up to be at least 2,000 tamales...give or take :) We each had our own station: dishes, steaming, spreading, wrapping, tying..etc, so it wasn't too bad.

I loved all of us being together. It had been since our wedding that we were all under the same roof! Thank you Jim, Mom, and the Dunn's for a fantastic week.
